The Faculty of Electrical and Biomedical Engineering at Sadjad University was established in 1995 with the admission of the first batch of undergraduate students (B.Sc level). In 2002, 2004, and 2005 the Associate, non-continuous Bachelor's, and Master's programs were added respectively to the previous discipline in this faculty. In 2014, the faculty was approved to offer a Ph.D. program in Electrical Engineering.
Currently, the Faculty of Electrical and Biomedial Engineering offers Associate degree in Electronics and Telecommunications, non-continuous Bachelor’s in Electronics, Telecommunications, and Power, continuous Bachelor’s in Electronics, Telecommunications, Control, Power, Biomedical Engineering, and Digital Systems, and Master's in Electronics, Telecommunications, and Power.
At the present time, this faculty has 27 faculty members with a variety of research interests.
